By the very nature of physically handling cards, we cannot absolutely 100% guarantee that some wear will not occur (especially if you try sorting cards covered in sand, for instance. Please don't do that). That said, it is incredibly safe. Here's a video demo of running a new pack of Strixhaven cards through 20 times with a close inspection:
