Lease costs and fees for the PhyzBatch-9000 card sorter.
We're not selling the Phyzbatch-9000 outright, it just wasn't a viable business model for us to support them. Instead, we are leasing the machines using the following structure:

Proactive Maintenance Fee
1/3 of one cent ($0.003333...) per card for cards processed beyond 100,000 in a calendar month, up to a maximum of $1,000 in a calendar month (i.e. no additional charge for cards processed in excess of 400,000 cards in a calendar month)
Hey, what's the deal with this "Proactive Maintenance Fee"!?
The PhyzBatch-9000 is a robust and reliable machine, but it is still obeys the physical laws of reality and will eventually require maintenance. We have priced our Monthly Lease Fee so that for most customers, maintenance is "baked in". While the majority of our customers are small-to-medium sized local game stores, and may never (or rarely) process more than 100,000 cards in a calendar month, other customers are operating on a more industrial scale, and consistently process millions of cards each month. The Proactive Maintenance Fee is to cover accelerated wear and tear for our industrial users (as they will require maintenance much sooner and more often than 'regular' users), while still providing all of our users with the lowest cost-per-volume card sorting service on the market.
A Message to Players and Personal Collectors: The Phyzbatch-9000 is a tool intended for commercial use, but the hope is for your local game store to get one and offer to sort your cards as a service - everybody wins!
