A description and troubleshooting steps for Error 103 - Rapid change in conveyor RPM.
General Resolution
Check for any cards stuck in the conveyor system and resume your sorting session.
One of the safety features built into the PhyzBatch 9000 conveyor system are sensors which monitor the RPM of the conveyor motor. A possible reason for increased resistance on the conveyor motor is a card jam in the conveyor. If a critical threshold is passed, the conveyor will stop to prevent further potential damage.
Check the conveyor to see if there are any cards stuck in the system and remove them by hand (you will need to remove the conveyor cover), then resume your sorting session. If the conveyor continues to have card jams, check to see if they are caused by flapper malfunctions (such as a faulty solenoid, or the flapper being too high), or by double-feeding.
If there are no cards in the conveyor, the issue may be due to the conveyor bearings wearing.
If the cause is determined to be the bearings, please contact Support for additional assistance.
